General product information
| Size |
SnoozeShade® is a universal fit buggy and pram blackout blind designed to fit most popular brands of three- and four-wheel prams and pushchairs with hoods or sun canopies. Your pushchair must have a standard one-per-child hood/sun canopy to fit a SnoozeShade. SnoozeShade attaches to the buggy’s fram quickly and easily using Velcro straps. SnoozeShade’s elasticated top and sides allow a flexible fit and the straight bottom seam lets your child’s legs poke through comfortably as they get longer. SnoozeShade fits twin and triplet strollers with hoods where each child has its own hood. Simply use one per baby and then you needn’t disturb one if the other wakes up. It can also be used with rear-facing child car seats as long as they have a hood – excellent for blocking out the light from street lamps if you are travelling at night. NOTE: A double buggy version of SnoozeShade (for buggies with one wide hood rather than two single hoods) is in development. |
| Sun protection factor |
SnoozeShade is intended for use as a baby sleep aid. Its primary purpose is to block out light, sun and distractions during baby’s sleep time in a pram or pushchair. The fabric has UPF50+ (the highest rating of sun protection) but, as baby can only see out through the open ‘sneak-a-peak’ front access, SnoozeShade should only be used while baby naps rather than as an alternative to a full sun shade through which baby can see out. As with any sun protection system, it is always sensible to follow additional precautions. Always use SnoozeShade (or any other pram or stroller shade) along with other recommended forms of sun protection. These include sun lotion, protective clothing and sun hat. Never leave a child unattended in the sun. Keep babies and toddlers out of direct sunlight at the hottest times of the day (11am to 3pm). Don’t leave small children in the sun too long at any time. How to use SnoozeShade®
SnoozeShade has been designed as a simple and lightweight alternative to draped coats, blankets and other items to prolong baby’s sleep while out and about. SnoozeShade needs a pushchair hood to fit properly.
In order to fit onto most popular prams and pushchairs, SnoozeShade has Velcro straps which can be fastened to suitable fixing points on your buggy.
Dependent on the make and model of your buggy, you may not need to use all the straps as the elasticated top supports itself on the pram’s hood or SnoozeShade can be stretched to fit around the pram’s frame, in which case simply tuck the straps away.
There is always somewhere suitable to which you can attach the SnoozeShade straps – the frame of the pushchair and the locking/hinge mechanism of the hood work well.

The list includes most popular brands but is not exhaustive. If your buggy isn't on the list, it doesn't mean SnoozeShade won't fit.
Please email us and tell us about your pram if it’s not on this list. We will provide fitting advice and guidance.
