SnoozeShade Sunday – February 2013

22Comments

I can’t believe it’s time for SnoozeShade Sunday again – it feels like just 5 minutes since we last did this together! :)) I hope that the brief bit of sunshine will mean lots of entries this month – to keep babies napping and sleeping even when it’s bright outside…

I’m sure you all know the drill now – I’ve got five Snooze’s to give away. If you win, you can choose one product – from either a SnoozeShade original, original limited edition, plus, twin or SnoozeShade for infant car seats. This month, I’ve asked everyone on the Facebook page for their thoughts on what the question should be and have come up with a hybrid of the ones suggested by Tricia and Natalie so special thanks to them for inspiring this month’s question :))

To enter, all you need to do is leave a blog comment with one of the changes you’ve noticed since becoming a parent – it can be funny, mushy or practical – anything will do – just something that’s changed! You can earn extra entries by either following me on twitter, tweeting about the competition or liking SnoozeShade on Facebook….

I would never leave the house before without my hair done and makeup applied…. Now I’m lucky if either happens even once a week. The makeup part doesn’t bother me, but my frizzy hair days sure do sometimes :)

Since becoming a parent I now realize there isn’t enough hours in the day and the night never ends! I just want sleep!

  3. I never get time for myself :(

  4. It’s so handy to put baby in his bouncer & rock him with my foot so I can eat a meal in peace!

  5. Jenn says:

I care a lot less about how I look and a lot more about how I can get more sleep!

  6. Jenn says:

I spend lot less time on myself and more time trying to figure out how to get more sleep!

I used to be early to everything… now I am always late because there is always last minute baby related stuff that I don’t realize until I am about to leave!

One change I have noticed since becoming a parent is how much better I get on with my own mum – know knowing what she went through to look after me and the amount of hard work that goes into raising a child gives me a lot more respect and apreciation for her

  11. Simone fong says:

Since having the kids, my house looks lived in (toys everywhere), and I don’t care! We are all happy :)

  12. jo says:

What’s changed since becoming a mummy, here’s the list ;) : rarely have time to get ready for the day ahead, half hour baths have turnt into 5minute ones (that’s if I’m lucky!), human waste no longer bothers me (infact I often catch myself wiping her messy face/hands on my clothes lol!).. Need anymore or is that enough? Wouldn’t change any of it for the world! :D x

  13. anna says:

    definitely became better at multitasking!

  14. Louise says:

I cant even go to the toilet without someone coming in

  15. Emma Robert says:

One change I have noticed since becoming a parent is I don’t look after myself. Like I don’t colour my hair, wear make up,straighten my hair and not even pluck my eye brows on regular basics. I don’t have the time :(((

  16. Sarah Parkin says:

Since becoming a parent I am completely out of touch with the latest music unless it features on kids TV!

  17. How my house can be a clean one minute and a disaster the next… it is amazing the chaos 3 kids can cause!

  18. Kate Bryans says:

since becoming a parent a lie in has become to mean 7.30am!

  19. June S. says:

I not first time parent, kid’s grown & gone, but I am going to be grandmother for the first time very soon!

  20. Tricia Clark says:

I now realise that love comes in the simplest forms, a smile, a hug, the first time I heard ‘mummy’. :-)

  21. Tammy says:

Since becoming a parent what has changed most is my sleep! (Or lack there of), but I wouldn’t trade being a parent for anything in the world :)
