How to use SnoozeShade baby sun and sleep shades
SnoozeShade is the UK's no.1 pram sunshade - trusted by parents, endorsed by the Melanoma International Foundation and approved by the INPAA in Australia. All products are made from our unique air-permeable EziBreez® mesh and tested to the highest safety standards.
For babies in the carrycot (from birth)
We recommend using SnoozeShade Original when your baby is lying flat in a pram or carrycot, or using a travel system with a car seat. Both styles feature an elasticated top for a secure fit on all hood shapes.
Blocks 99% of UV (UPF50+). Black fabric with choice of trims: Safety Green, Grey or Pink. Attaches with Velcro straps.
Blocks 97.5% of UV (UPF40+). Silver-grey outer fabric with black lining. Uses certified baby-safe poppers instead of Velcro.
For infant car seats
Both styles fit all Group 0/0+ car seats with rigid handles and offer three modes (shade, sleep and open) for maximum versatility.

For babies in the stroller seat
If your baby is in the stroller seat (whether lying flat or sitting up), choose from our Plus range. Both include a large unzippable front panel and panel storage pocket with our unique "sleeping baby" emblem. They're ideal from when baby moves to the stroller seat until they no longer use the stroller (up to age 4) and offer a universal fit.

For double buggies (from birth)
If your double buggy has a shared hood, the SnoozeShade Twin Deluxe is the one you need. It's suitable from birth and offers the same dual-layer protection as the Plus Deluxe.
If your double buggy has two separate hoods, use one age-appropriate SnoozeShade per seat. For example: carrycot seat - SnoozeShade Original. Stroller seat - SnoozeShade Plus Extra or Plus Deluxe.
For travel cots, cots and cot beds
All styles include zip-open top panels, adjustable blackout levels and are made from the same air-permeable EziBreez® mesh.
Fits rectangular travel cots (95cm x 65cm mattress). Also fits triangular-style cribs (up to 116cm base length).
Fits standard cots and larger travel cots (120cm x 60cm). Not suitable for cot beds.
Fits most cot beds (140cm x 70cm mattress).
Top tips for using your SnoozeShade
All products feature a sneak-a-peek zip for quiet checks. Dress baby lightly in warm weather and keep them hydrated. Feel the back of baby's neck to monitor comfort. Turn the pram away from direct sun where possible. Remove hats during sleep. Use sunscreen only when age-appropriate. Never leave baby unattended in a vehicle.
