We were desperate for something that would protect our 6 week old when we went for a trip into London during a heatwave. This kept the sun off and actually kept him cool too unlike other shades we've tried. Although he wasn't a fan of being plunged into darkness during a walk, this shade was the first time he actually slept in the pram!
