SnoozeShade makes parents' lives easier

SnoozeShade was created by British mum Cara, who needed a safe, breathable, and baby-friendly way to help her daughter sleep—anywhere. Since launching SnoozeShade Original in 2010, our award-winning range has helped hundreds of thousands of parents enjoy stress-free naps, safer sun exposure, and more freedom to get out and about—without sacrificing their baby’s sleep.

Find the right SnoozeShade for your baby’s current setup

We want to make sure you choose the best SnoozeShade for how your baby is travelling—because it’s not about the pram brand, it’s about whether your little one is lying flat or sitting up.

👶 If your baby is lying flat in a carrycot, pram, or bassinet: Choose the SnoozeShade Original. It’s ideal from birth and designed to safely cover your carrycot, giving full overhead shade (unlike an umbrella that only blocks some light). It also helps reduce sensory stimulation, encouraging healthy sleep habits from day one.

🧒 If your baby is sitting up in a stroller seat - regardless of their age: Go for the SnoozeShade Plus Extra or Plus Deluxe. These are larger than the Original to allow room for longer legs and bigger buggies. They include a lookout window so your baby can enjoy the view when awake, and a blackout snooze panel for when it’s time to nap.

💡 Not sure when to switch? Many babies move from a carrycot to the stroller seat around 6 months - but it really depends on your baby. Once they’re sitting up or you’ve switched to the stroller seat,
it’s time to move to the Plus range.
