Can you wash SnoozeShade?
Good news - SnoozeShade is one of the easiest baby accessories you'll ever have to clean.
It's one of the questions we get asked most often: "Can I wash my SnoozeShade?" The short answer is yes, absolutely. And it's far easier than you might think.
Machine wash? Hand wash? Both work
SnoozeShade can be machine washed on a 30-degree cycle - just pop it in and let the machine do the work. If you prefer to hand wash, that's fine too, but there's really no need to go to the extra effort. A gentle machine wash at 30 degrees will do the job perfectly.
Wash: Machine wash at 30°C (hand wash is fine too). Dry: Air dries in almost no time thanks to the polyester EziBreez® mesh. Tumble dry on low heat if you prefer. Iron: We'd suggest not ironing it - but then, why would you iron your SnoozeShade? Bleach: No. Just don't.
Why does it dry so fast?
SnoozeShade is made from polyester EziBreez® mesh, which means it barely holds onto water. Where cotton and heavier fabrics can take hours to dry, SnoozeShade dries in almost seconds. Hang it up, give it a shake, and it's pretty much ready to go again. You can also tumble dry it on a low heat if you're in a hurry, but honestly you'll barely need to.
Check the care label
Every SnoozeShade comes with a washing label that has the full care instructions on it. It's worth having a look before you wash for the first time, just so you know exactly what's recommended for your particular product. But the basics are always the same: 30 degrees, no bleach, no ironing, and it'll be dry before you've finished hanging the rest of your washing out.
Heading on holiday or a day trip? Because SnoozeShade dries so quickly, you can give it a rinse the night before and it'll be completely dry by morning. No need to pack a damp sunshade.
One less thing to worry about
Babies are messy. That's just a fact of life. Whether it's sticky fingers, a milk spill or a muddy park adventure, it's reassuring to know that cleaning your SnoozeShade is as simple as throwing it in the wash. No special detergents, no complicated instructions, no waiting days for it to dry. Well, it was designed by a mum - of course it's got to be easy to wash and maintain.
Machine wash at 30°C. Dries in seconds. Back on the pram and ready to go. It really is that easy.
