How to fit SnoozeShade for Cot Beds
SnoozeShade for Cot Beds fits all standard-size European cot beds and larger travel cots with a mattress size up to 140cm x 70cm. It's quick and easy to fit – perfect for tired parents and overtired babies!
🛏️ How to fit SnoozeShade for Cot Beds
- Place the SnoozeShade over your cot bed, ensuring the section with the large top panel sits on the top.
- Pull the sides down so the corners of the SnoozeShade align with the corners of your cot bed.
- Attach the stretchy straps around the legs of your cot bed or around a lower bar if available. The Velcro should overlap to form a secure loop.
- Store the top panel in the integrated side pocket using the poppers provided, if you're not using it.
☀️ Light control options
SnoozeShade for Cot Beds is made from our air-permeable mesh fabric, which blocks 94% of light and blurs visual distractions to help your little one drift off more easily.
You can adjust the environment with these three simple options:
- Top panel open: Unzip the large top panel for easy access or visibility.
- Top panel closed: Zip it up to block overhead light, reduce distractions, and protect from insects or curious pets.
- Side window open or closed: Adjust the side panel window to let in light or block it out – simply roll it up and secure with baby-safe poppers.
🧼 Washing instructions
- Machine-washable at 30°C and tumble dry on low.
- Close all zips and attach Velcro straps together before washing or storing to prevent damage.
- Do not iron.
🛡️ Safety information
SnoozeShade was invented by British mum Cara Sayer to help her baby sleep soundly and safely. Every SnoozeShade product is made from scientifically tested mesh that’s free from chemicals and completely air-permeable – allowing air to pass through freely. All components (including zips, straps and poppers) are tested to exceed UK, European and US safety standards and are suitable for newborns.
- Always use the top panel zip to check on your baby regularly.
- If the top panel is open, secure the flap in the side pocket using the poppers.
- Ensure all corner straps are firmly attached to the cot bed frame or legs, with Velcro overlapped into a secure loop.
