How to fit SnoozeShade Plus Extra

✨ Before you start – fitting tips

1. You don’t need to use all the straps! There are eight pairs of short straps for safety. Use only what works for your pushchair. If you get stuck, message us on Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp with photos and we’ll help.
2. Half-open hood is best. Keep your stroller hood at least halfway forward before attaching the top straps so Plus Extra sits lower and lines up with the hood edge (that’s where the sneak-a-peek zip is). Lowering your hood fully forward can make it hard to fit your SnoozeShade and also can trap heat if you're in a hot climate.
3. Straps can attach to each other. They don’t have to wrap around the frame – around hood hinges, seat backs, or under the pram base all work. Stretch them as needed and remember fewer straps are often enough. See a short strap-fit video ›

Plus Extra and Plus Deluxe are identical in size – any Plus, Plus Extra or Plus Deluxe demo shows the same fitting method.

🧼 Washing instructions

• Machine-wash at 30 °C and tumble dry on low.
• Close all zips and attach Velcro straps to each other before washing or storage.
• Do not iron. 🚫

💡 Keep your SnoozeShade in tip-top condition

• Use the built-in pocket to store the outer panels (shade and snooze panels) when not in use. This protects the mesh from accidental snagging or damage.
• Damage to outer panels caused by incorrect storage is not covered under warranty – so always tuck them safely away.
• Make sure all zips are closed and Velcro straps fastened to each other before machine washing or storing your SnoozeShade.
• If you ever need help, just message us with photos – we’re happy to advise!

📦 How to store the panels properly

🛡️ Safety advice

SnoozeShade fabric is free from chemicals, completely air-permeable and tested to exceed UK, EU and US safety standards. Every component is newborn-safe. 👶

1. Check baby often – our sneak-a-peek zip lets you look in without disturbing naps.
2. Always use a correctly fitted harness and never leave children unattended.
3. Turn the pram out of direct sun when stationary and seek shade whenever possible.
4. UV can reflect off water, sand, concrete and other surfaces – cover open areas.
5. Doctors advise babies under six months stay completely out of direct sunlight.
6. General guidance suggests keeping children out of direct sun between 11 am and 4 pm.
7. Use SnoozeShade with other sun-safe measures: lotion, hats, sunglasses, clothing.
8. Avoid use in strong winds or heavy rain.
9. SnoozeShade is a tool, not a substitute for vigilant adult supervision.
