The key thing on deciding on when it's time to move from SnoozeShade Original to SnoozeShade Plus Deluxe is how is your little one positioned in the pram or stroller?
Once your little one is in the stroller seat and sitting up happily in the pram then they will need our larger sized 6m+ model. It is nearly 3 times the size of the Original to allow for longer legs and an easier fit on larger buggies. "Bought this based on the raving reviews but was doubtful when it arrived as it doesn't seem to block out much light like you would expect of a black out blind for example, which my daughter has in her room if I have any hope of her napping. However, to give it its due, my 1 year old who never naps on the go has happily napped while out and about under this. Definitely worth it and so pleased!"

"What AMAZING customer service SnoozeShade has directly! They were so understanding, responsive and solved the issue straight away. Not came across a company with this level of customer service before ever I don’t think! We’ve used the product a few times now. My little one (13.5 months, 12 months corrected and still a tiny dot) hates sun in his eyes but will not leave a cap or sunglasses in at all 🙃🤦🏼♀️. Life saver on a holiday!
"This product is AMAZING! I can't imagine doing a holiday with a baby/toddler without it. It's nice and small when it's folded up into the pouch that it comes with. There is a handle on the pouch so we just hung it out of the buggy until we needed it. It was great in the mornings and evenings when the sun was low and would come underneath the hood of the buggy so we used it to help our daughter go to sleep as well as protect her from the sun. It was also brilliant to block out the light and stop our nosey little 8 month old from looking around at everyone and everything that is going on which often stops her from going to sleep. We also used it in the airport for this exact same reason and she went to sleep nice and quick before getting on the plane. The different levels of mesh are brilliant to help you choose whether you want full blackout or just light mesh. The zip opening at the top is great for peaking in on your child to see if they are asleep or awake without completely disturbing them. Definitely a 10/10 for this product! Worth every penny and I wouldn't go away without it now!"

"We have really struggled to find a product that works for us & keeps our little boy safe in the sun. We’ve tried parasols and other shades and none of them have been right at all. A friend recommended the Snoozeshade, so we gave it a go. It’s pretty much perfect! Even putting it over the pram with the front open provides plenty of shade from the sun, and then when our boy needs a nap, it’s a quick zip up and he has a dark, cosy place to sleep, no matter where we are. It’s also really easy to attach to the pram (I’m extremely awkward, and even I managed it first time), and it rolls up really small and pops into the storage bag easily to be stashed back under the pram/in the changing bag or in the car and it doesn’t take up much space at all. How does using SnoozeShade help my baby and I?
SnoozeShade is like a portable blackout blind for families on the go, allowing you to get out and about while still maintaining your baby’s sleep routine.

Why is SnoozeShade a dark colour, doesn't that attract heat?
The colour of a fabric has little to do with how hot it gets, but there are lots of great reasons why our fabric looks the way that it does:
• SnoozeShade is made from air-permeable mesh with lots of small holes that allow fresh air to circulate easily
• SnoozeShade’s fabric has been tested multiple times by well-respected, independent laboratories and scores highly for air permeability
• Darker colours are the best colour for UV protection, as they block the most UV rays. This means our fabric doesn't need any chemical treatment

What is air-permeable fabric?
Our unique fabric is actually better than breathable. It's air permeable.
The term breathability is often used incorrectly. It's actually a term that refers to how well a fabric wicks moisture away from the skin, which is why it's often used to describe sportswear. Air permeability is all about how easily air moves through something.
A fabric that's ‘breathable’ is not necessarily air permeable. For your baby to be safe beneath a sunshade it MUST be made from air-permeable fabric. Avoid cheap copies and buy the safety-tested best.
I'm also proud to say that a new test for suffocation and CO2 rebreathing was developed and our mesh fabric passed both tests with flying colours!
What sun protection does SnoozeShade Plus Deluxe provide?
When it’s time for a buggy nap, convert your SnoozeShade Plus to snooze mode by zipping up the outer panel (an extra layer of air-permeable mesh). This snooze panel covers the inner window to create a sleep-friendly environment that blurs distractions, shuts out 94% of light and blocks 97.5% of UV rays (UPF 40+).
While other sunshades claim to offer high UV protection, many have transparent panels. This won’t offer the same level of sun protection, as UV rays can get in. Remember, if you can clearly see your baby through the fabric, so can the sun!
